![]() ![]() Nothing works, and I'm getting hella frustrated about not being able to play the game I paid for. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling from Origin, doing a clean uninstall, deleting the version.tag file, and restarting. ![]() If I launch from Applications, it tries to open Origin when I click play, then quits both with no error message. I click play, and it immediately quits, coming up with a problem report simply saying 'The Sims 3 quit unexpectedly'. If I click play through Origin, it minimises the Origin window and the Sims 3 launcher comes up (screenshot attached). ![]() All kinds of issues ensued, finally culminating in the current one which I just cannot find a solution for no matter how many forums I search. I've had a hankering to play The Sims so I bought the Sims 3 starter pack from Origin. I run an admittedly very old MacBook Pro - 2010, operating High Sierra 10.13.6.
